The Columbia Area Mental Health Center (CAMHC) is an outpatient facility of the South Carolina Department of Mental Health (DMH). CAMHC serves residents of Richland and Fairfield counties. Our staff is dedicated to the recovery of people with serious mental illnesses. Each year, CAMHC serves over 7,000 patients with serious mental illness or emotional disturbances, helping them recover and live fulfilling lives. We believe in the importance of mental health as a major factor in contributing to your quality of life, and we provide services regardless of your ability to pay.
